context: the Titan's Battalion rules
This Piece is not part of a Battalion yet, but it may become part of a Battalion eventually. It's just an example for now. It would not be present in the starting position but could become present on the board later, for example when a Piece captures a Bear. More information about the Bear is here.
This Piece is called the Bearer. It is Immutable. Its Move consists of Moving it orthogonally any number of squares, possibly Capturing by Displacement. It may not Move over any movement-blocking Pieces on its orthogonal path unless it Captures by displacement, in which case it may Move over 1 but doesn't have to. None of its Moves are considered Leaps. It may Capture friendly Pieces only during its first introduction to the board as described below and in the Bear information page.
When a Bearer is Captured by a non-Titan Piece, a new Bearer controlled by the player that did the capture attempts to appear on whichever square the old Bearer was on, Capturing the contents of that square, including friendly Pieces, if necessary. If it is impossible for the new Bearer to Capture the contents of that square or to land on that square without Capturing its contents, the new Bearer is placed on an empty square of it's controller's choosing. If this is also impossible, it simply goes to its controller's hand instead and follows normal rules for Jade Spiritomancy.
